You may be wondering what to do regarding Ford's announced health plan changes for pre-medicare salaried retirees (if you are retired and not yet 65). Health care plans (medical, prescription drug, and dental) will no longer be provided by Ford and must be purchased through a health insurance marketplace. In lieu of medical coverage, Ford will fund a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) with amounts that will vary depending on marital status and eligible children. These changes will take effect on January 1, 2022 and you must be enrolled by December 15, 2021.
