A judge’s ruling to allow Visteon to discontinue benefits for some 6,500 retired Visteon workers was overturned in July 2010 by the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The appeals court ordered immediate restoration of benefits for both the salaried and hourly retired workers.
